The School of Banking & Capital Markets (SOBACM) welcomes applications from graduates, professionals, executives and individuals seeking to develop specialized knowledge and skills in banking, finance and capital markets.

Admission requirements vary according to the programme and level of study.

1. Professional Diploma Programmes

Applicants should generally have:

• A Senior High School Certificate, diploma or equivalent qualification; or
• A relevant professional qualification; or
• Relevant work experience in banking, finance, business or a related field.

Applicants without formal tertiary qualifications may be considered based on their professional experience and suitability for the programme.

2. Executive Diploma Programmes

Applicants are generally expected to have:

• A diploma, degree or equivalent professional qualification; or
• Relevant professional experience in banking, finance, business or a related field.

These programmes are particularly suitable for working professionals, supervisors, managers, executives and business owners.

3. Certified Professional Programmes

Admission requirements depend on the specific certification and its awarding body. Applicants may be required to have:

• A relevant diploma or degree;
• Professional qualifications;
• Relevant industry experience; or
• A combination of education and professional experience.

Additional requirements may apply for programmes awarded by international professional or awarding bodies.

4. Chartered Professional Programmes

Chartered programmes are generally intended for experienced professionals and individuals with relevant academic or professional backgrounds.

Recognition of Prior Learning
